01

Connect directly

Password and dedicated Ed25519 key authentication. Verify the server fingerprint on first connection; changed fingerprints block access.

02

Stay with your work

03

Make it yours

Chinese, English, or follow system. Light, dark, or follow system. Host and interface preferences can sync through iCloud Drive.

Know what leaves your device.

No XShell service account, business backend, or analytics SDK. Hosts and preferences sync by default. Credential sync is a separate opt-in on each device and currently writes plaintext files to iCloud Drive, without app-level encryption.

Requires iOS / iPadOS 17 or later and a reachable SSH server. XShell does not provide a VPN, NAT traversal, or SFTP. Real-device input and gesture acceptance is still in progress.
